There are a variety of individuals who are excited about finding ways to generate cash on the Internet. A search for “make money” on Google returns more than four and a half million results. Plainly, there is a need for information on making money, and no shortage of consumers who are willing to provide it. Much of that information is offered in the form of an electronic book, or ebook. For a price, authors are willing to share their information about making money by way of downloadable reading material. That seems to be a good thing, and yet many consumers dismiss such books as being no more than “get rich quick” ripoffs.
Years ago, a number of unscrupulous individuals took advantage of readers of magazines by taking out full-page ads touting their “rags to riches” success stories. The typical ad might describe someone who was out of a job, approaching bankruptcy and without hope, who instantly found a “secret” of making cash. The ad then went on to describe how rich that person has become as a result of the “secret” and then offered that “secret” for sale to anyone who sent a check to the Post Office box indicated in the ad. These ads were effective, but individuals who sent in money were generally disappointed to see that the “secret” typically consisted of no more than a letter that said “take out ads and market this letter.” Plainly, these ads were ripoffs.
While numerous sales pages for today’s ebooks vaguely resemble the ads of yesteryear, many of the products themselves are legitimate. True, the advertisements will tout the effectiveness of the information offered, and claims like “Make $5000 in one week!” aren’t uncommon. Hyperbole aside, many of these books do have legitimate information to offer. The online publisher ClickBank offers tens of thousands of such books for sale, and their sales policies require a 56 day, “no questions asked” refund policy. That policy tends to weed out the ripoffs pretty quickly, especially since ClickBank reviews every book before publication.
Are all ebooks, particularly individuals offered for sale though ClickBank, equally great? Of course not. Several will be more favorable than others, and few, if any, of them will offer information that will lead to the sorts of income suggested on their sales pages. Most of them, however, will offer at least several useful information about making money on the internet. In the end, you’re more probable to buy a book that will let you earn some cash than you’re to buy a book that is an outright scam.
If you’re in doubt as to whether or not a particular ebook may useful, you might wish to search the World wide web for reviews. There are numerous sites on the Internet that review moneymaking ebooks, and a bit of time spent on such sites may be worth your while. You might also make a point of purchasing books that are offered for sale though ClickBank, as you will have the extra protection of being able to be given a refund should the book not be up to your expectations.
